The Library at the Dock is a welcome addition to Melbourne’s Docklands precinct. A cross between a library and a community center, it brings much-needed civic life to this new part of the city. Apart from books, it has a diverse range of formats for borrowers. Today there was ‘playgroup for babies,’ most of whom were 6 to 12 months old. The talented storyteller made the babies playgroup fun for everyone. The Melbourne City Council keeps the Library spick and span.
